Several month Vitriolic selected to release their American Counter-Strike Source team, today Vitriolic can announce their new North American team, they hope will be able to compete with Europe's elite.
The players of the new North American team is formerly players of Carolina Core, San Francisco Optx and Los Angeles Complexity, there received salaries to compete in the Championship Gaming Series.
Statement from Vitriolic CEO, Roger 'RGR' Barradas:
"I am happy to say that we have finally come to a conclusion with our US endeavour. Over the past few weeks we have been looking at our options and thanks to the assistance of Moe Assad we have found a team that can not only represent our organisation proudly, but the United States as well. With regret Moe himself will be unable to play as he will soon be leaving the US to focus on his education in Lebanon. Kyle "Mustang" Cummings has also decided to drop out this season due to personal issues, and so we have picked up Chad "DAFF" White and Sam "devour" Chamma (former players of the Carolina Core CGS franchise) to replace them. Kevin “kB” Baker will also act as a backup for the ESEA season. I would like to thank the whole of my management team for their efforts and dedication throughout this process. The team have decided mutually that they will not be attending the upcoming i-38 event to give themselves more time to prepare for future events. We hope to see the team competing in Europe later this year."
Statement from Yazan 'clowN' Ammari:
"We have had our ups, and everyone knows we've had our downs (fall of CGS) but our team has stuck together for the most part and have remained friends, we are very proud and excited to start the next chapter of our gaming career with vitriolic, and hopefully maintain the image and championship performance as we always have, thanks to Nordy for the quick and helpful transition over."
